My name is Alex. I’m an avid birder and nature photographer living in eastern Michigan.

My enthusiasm for capturing the lives of animals and the environments they live in started with birding. My partner and I traveled around the state, observing and learning about all the species of our avian friends we could. When I began documenting our adventures with images, I discovered I had a talent for photography. Since then, I’ve been honing both the technical and artistic side of my craft, and you can follow that journey here.
